What I work on

I’m a Senior Staff Experience Designer at a global payments platform, working on trust and privacy. Most of my attention right now goes to what happens when software acts on a person’s behalf: how someone grants that authority, how they bound it, how they see what was done with it, and how they get back to solid ground when it goes wrong. Consent people actually understand, limits they can set with confidence, and a way to undo.

Before that I spent seven years at Google in the Privacy & Data Protection Office and in Ads & Commerce, on the systems that let a company of that size ship responsibly: privacy review tooling used across Alphabet, the Transparency Report covering roughly 150 countries, and a design system serving 60,000+ Googlers. Some of the privacy patterns I shipped were adopted into Material Design. I also co-created the Google UX Design Certificate, which has reached more than a million learners.

Fifteen years in, the through-line is the same: identity, risk, and consent at scale, and design systems that hold up when the stakes are real.

Where I’ve worked

Payments2026 – present: Senior Staff Experience Designer, Trust & Privacy, at a global payments platform. Authorization and consent, explainability, and the design playbook and component library behind them.
LaborAid2025: Product design lead, contract. Designed a union payroll remittance platform solo, end to end — employer onboarding, ACH remittance, ingestion, and reporting.
Google2018 – 2025: Senior Interaction Designer. Privacy One, the cross-Alphabet privacy review system; the Safety Data Platform for content moderation compliance; the Transparency Report; and the Connect design system across 24+ products.
SecureKey2016 – 2017: Sole designer on Canada’s first blockchain-backed digital identity platform, launched with every major Canadian bank, telco, and government agency. Later acquired by Interac.
Apple · IBM2014 – 2015: Senior Designer on the iOS enterprise partnership. Shipped zero-to-one apps for Fortune 500 clients, including one of the first enterprise Apple Watch apps.
